The Owahee Trail is the longest in the system, measuring 16.6 miles along approximately two-thirds of the reserve's perimeter and ending at Channel M east of Royal Palm Beach. There is also an extensive system of four biking and hiking trails meandering around and through the Grassy Waters Preserve.

This 20-square-mile wetland provides drinking water to West Palm Beach, but it's easy to get around and there is little traffic on the residential streets. For those looking for a more challenging ride, there are several mountain biking trails in the area. The Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge has several trails that offer a variety of terrain and difficulty levels.
